SEMCO Construction is a fourth-generation, family-owned builder led today by Don and Debi Marchant, recognized experts in residential and commercial construction across Yukon and the OKC metro. The SEMCO legacy began more than 45 years ago after World War I, when Shelby Earnest “Daddy Ernie” Marchant, Sr. entered the building industry in Dallas, Texas. His son, S.E. Marchant, expanded the business into new home construction and remodeling, paving the way for Donnie, who joined the company in 1983 and helped rebrand it as SEMCO Homes in 1993. In 1998, Donnie moved operations to Oklahoma City, seeing the strong growth and opportunity the region offered. In 2019, SEMCO evolved into SEMCO Construction, reflecting its expanded capabilities in custom homes, barndominiums, remodeling, and commercial projects. Today, Donnie and Debi—along with their daughter Amber, their son Seth, and a highly skilled team of builders, designers, and project specialists—carry forward a legacy built on honesty, trust, craftsmanship, and integrity, creating homes and spaces that reflect each client’s lifestyle and vision.
